After the amazing weekend that was #ArtsinthePark, we’ve interviewed some of our dancers to see how it went for them! First up, we have Isaac Cheung who participated in #ArtsinthePark for the first time this year. He performed in Giselle Liu’s Perfect Creatures.
I loved… dancing with a group of friends whom I feel like are my family. Also the parade gave me a different performance experience, where I could interact with the audience.
I learned… to communicate with friends who are so much younger than me! Also to be more confident and friendly towards the audience.
I am going to miss…my Perfect Creatures family and everything that happened during the rehearsals and performances.
Tell us something we don’t know…Well...as I want the certificate of participation so badly, I would rush to the studio to make sure I was punctual for rehearsals. Sometimes I didn’t even have time for lunch, or would quickly just eat some bread!
Challenges? Perfect Creatures had many formations...remembering those really challenged my memory.
What’s next for you? I am going to keep chasing my dance dream (or maybe even singing?)
My dream super power is… UNLIMITED power and energy!
If I could meet an artist for a day, it would be…Michael Jackson!
